The ceramic bezel has been restyled with the engraved silver lacquer numerals offering effortless sophistication. The 2016 Aquaracer model sees an increase in both power and size, boasting a larger case, 43 mm compared to the previous 41 mm, in polished and satin-finished steel.
Robust and water-resistant to 300 metres, the Aquarecer models feature a ceramic uni-directional rotary bezel, with its twelve sides and six studs, a screw-down crown, large luminous indications on the indexes and hands and a screw-down case back engraved with a diver's helmet. Since that time, TAG Heuer's Aquaracer collection, created in 2003, has continued to evolve, developing into the perfect timepiece for all kinds of extreme conditions, not just diving and other seafaring activities. In 1892, Edouard Heuer filed the first patent for a watertight case in the history of watchmaking.
